I won't have enough space to relate my account of how helpful oDesk turned out to be at a time when I was in despair. I was in a media related job, working for an outsourcing company as a news analyst. A day came when we lost the contract, possibly due to the recession sweeping the first world countries. I was already registered on oDesk and was able to cushion the trauma of losing my 'regular' job. Hats off to oDesk.
